 A concentrated, super degreaser perfect for all industrial kitchen applications. It is a non-toxic, non-fuming, non-flammable formulation that utilizes colloidal cleaning technology to easily penetrate the toughest grease and oil applications found in industrial kitchens. It is NSF approved (141171) and is safe in and around food processing areas. NC-610 Hood & Kitchen Cleaner is highly concentrated and can be used on all your toughest cleaning applications - hoods, grills, fry vats, filters, vents, food processing equipment, counters, and stainless steel. Dilute with hot or cold water (follow recommended dilutions). Safe on any washable surface including plastics, paints, rubber, fabrics and metals (may discolor untreated aluminum). Entirely safe for employees - no stinging eyes, burning hands and no overpowering smell (it is unscented).

History of Super C Products

SuperC Industrial Cleaners and Degreasers are manufactured by National Colloid Research and Development located in Santa Ana, CA. The company originated in Hawaii in the early 1970's and its SuperC Degreaser (known then as Energy Plus) was used in a wide variety of cleaning/degreasing applications by hotels, restaurants and the US military in Hawaii and on the mainland. The company relocated to Anaheim, CA in the mid 1970's and built upon its reputation as an innovator of safe, yet powerful cleaning and degreasing products. Soon SuperC was being widely used as a hood cleaner for the restaurant industry in the Gaylord, Ventroguard and Seco-Wash hood cleaning systems

 

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Let NC-610 do the work.  Apply and let sit for a minute or two on tough to clean stains so product can penetrate and lift grease and grime from the surface, then rinse with water.  Dwell time, increased temperature and agitation enhance the effectiveness of the product.  Use the following recommended dilution rates for best results. 

Hood Cleaner 1 quart NC-610 to 1 gallon water. (ratio: 1 to 4)

For ventilators over food preparation areas, such as Gaylord, Ventroguard and others, NC-610 will provide superior cleaning performance and will also reduce the potential of fire and prevent the clogging and scaling of tubes, valves and pumps within the hood itself. Stir mixture thoroughly and pour into detergent tank. Be sure to place suction tube back into the tank after filling. This mixture will degrease the accumulation on the interior surfaces, which will be washed away during the wash cycle. Filter type hood use 1 part NC-610 to 20 parts water. 

Fry Vats: 1 quart NC-610 to approximately 5 gallons of water (ratio: 1 to 20) – 40 pound capacity vat . Drain oil from vat. Add water to vat and fill to slightly above normal oil level. Add 1 quart of NC-610 to water and bring to a slow rolling boil. Allow to boil for 15 minutes. Inspect vat for areas where carbon deposits may still be adhering. Rub these areas lightly with grill pad to dislodge. Drain and rinse with water. 

Grills: Use NC-610 undiluted (several ounces) Cool grill to 200 F. Scrape off excess grease. Pour a few ounces NC-610 in erratic pattern over grill. With scraper, distribute product more evenly over the surface and add approx. 1 pint of water as this is done. Scrub and wash down with water and wipe off with towel.

Filter Cleaning: Use NC-610 undiluted (several ounces)  Remove filters and place in sink. Pour a few ounces of NC-610 onto filter in random pattern. Fill sink with hot water to cover filters and allow to soak 5-10 minutes. Lift with hook and lightly brush both sides with bristle brush and replace in hot solution. Soak 5-10 more minutes. Lift with hook and rinse both sides with hot water, then stand on end and allow to drain.

Stainless Steel, Food Processing Equipment, Counters, General Purpose:

1 part NC-610 to 20 parts water (ratio: 1 to 20)

Drain Cleaner Use 1 quart NC-610 to 5 gallons of hot water. (ratio: 1 to 20) Pour into floor drains in the kitchen, including the ventilator drain. NC-610 will be effective gradually. Perform above procedure every night for 1 week, then twice a week thereafter. This will help prevent the accumulation of grease in the drain lines and also reduce odor.

This product is acceptable for use as a general cleaner (A1) on all surfaces in and around food processing areas, where its use is not intended for direct food contact. Use of this product in food processing or handling facilities requires that all food products and packaging materials be removed or protected prior to product use. A potable water rinse of cleaned surfaces is required after use of this product. When used according to manufacturer's instructions, the cleaner shall neither exhibit a noticeable odor nor leave a visible residue.
